Five-Year Financial Plan invests in infrastructure and plans for a continued bright future in West Kelowna

City Council adopted the 2021 Budget and Five-Year Financial Plan Bylaw setting the tax increase at 4.05 per cent, which includes a one per cent Infrastructure Levy, at its regular Council meeting on April 20, 2021.

The City of West Kelowna anticipates opening Glenrosa Road for vehicle, cycling and pedestrian traffic on Friday, April 23 by noon, as active transportation improvements are almost complete.

Crews must keep Boucherie Road closed, between Ogden and Douglas Roads, until noon Wednesday, April 21 as they continue the work required to run service lines to a future Lakeview Heights brew house. The work was originally slated to end today, Tuesday, April 20.

The Glenrosa Road detour will be in effect on Saturday, April 17 to complete all remaining sidewalk work.

A new brew house is being built on Boucherie Road, and construction crews must close Boucherie Road, between Douglas and Ogden Roads on April 19 and 20 to install required service connections.
