  • Water Quality Advisory Rescinded for Lakeview/Rose Valley Water System (1)

    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

    August 14, 2020 

    The City of West Kelowna, in consultation with Interior Health, has rescinded the Water Quality Advisory for the Lakeview/Rose Valley Water System. The City issued the advisory July 15 due to high turbidity registering at the reservoir which also impacted the distribution network.

  • West Kelowna’s fall Rec Guide available online now

    It is a sure sign that we are heading into a change of seasons with the release of the City of West Kelowna’s Fall Recreation Guide. This year’s guide is offered online only, with no hard copies printed to ensure the most up to date programming information is available in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

  • Rotary Trail temporary parking lot closure

    Beginning Monday, August 17 Rotary Trail Park parking lot will be temporarily closed to accommodate the construction staging area for in-stream works as part of the Gellatly Road Bridge replacement over Powers Creek. Access to Rotary Trail will remain open.

  • Road rehabilitation program begins

    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

    August 12, 2020 

    The City’s Road Rehabilitation Program is set to begin on August 17, 2020. The program will see road treatments and paving renewal of 11 road segments across the city beginning with Pritchard Drive North and Industrial Road.

    The 2019 Annual Report, which presents the City’s financial position and highlights the programs, services and projects delivered within the last operating year is now available on the City’s website.
