Evening Closure Planned for Boulevard Maintenance on Boucherie Road

Crews will close Boucherie Road, between Hayman and Hudson Roads, Wednesday, August 26 from 6 p.m.
JBMAC Phase 2 reopening and online registrationThe Johnson Bentley Memorial Aquatic Centre (JBMAC) is reopening with limited aquatic programming starting September 14 and registration begins this week.
Changes to registering for programs and drop-in are in effect.
Water Quality Advisory Rescinded for Lakeview/Rose Valley Water System (1)FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The City of West Kelowna, in consultation with Interior Health, has rescinded the Water Quality Advisory for the Lakeview/Rose Valley Water System. The City issued the advisory July 15 due to high turbidity registering at the reservoir which also impacted the distribution network.

This year’s guide is offered online only, with no hard copies printed to ensure the most up to date programming information is available in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Rotary Trail temporary parking lot closureBeginning Monday, August 17 Rotary Trail Park parking lot will be temporarily closed to accommodate the construction staging area for in-stream works as part of the Gellatly Road Bridge replacement over Powers Creek. Access to Rotary Trail will remain open.
Road rehabilitation program beginsFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The City’s Road Rehabilitation Program is set to begin on August 17, 2020. The program will see road treatments and paving renewal of 11 road segments across the city beginning with Pritchard Drive North and Industrial Road.
