At 4 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 21, 2026, Polly Palmer, Chief Election Officer declared the candidate elected by acclamation. 

The nomination period for mayor, councillor and school trustee candidate has now ended. At 4 p.m. today in Council Chambers, Polly Palmer, Chief Election Officer for the City of West Kelowna, declared the candidates for the 2026 General Local Election in West Kelowna.

West Kelowna voters can now apply to vote by mail in the 2026 General Local Election. Eligible voters can request a mail-in ballot package online or in person at City Hall and return their completed ballot by mail, in person or through the secure drop box at City Hall. Advance voting takes place Oct. 7, 13 and 15, with general voting day on Oct. 17.
