Tonight’s Music in the Park is cancelled due to poor air quality
Enjoy a free evening of Caribbean and Latin-inspired music at Music in the Park on Friday, Aug. 7, at the Annette Beaudreau Amphitheatre in Memorial Park. The evening features Kelowna reggae duo TG + J Byrd at 7 p.m., followed by Alma Cubana at 8 p.m. with their energetic mix of Cuban music, Latin jazz and salsa. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy live entertainment, family activities in the Fun Zone, local food trucks, and free parking. Music in the Park runs every Friday through Aug. 28.
The City of West Kelowna has transitioned Royal LePage Place Arena into a group lodging facility to support individuals displaced from multiple communities affected by wildfires across the region.
The City of West Kelowna will begin construction on a full replacement of the playground at Smith Creek Park beginning Tuesday, Aug. 4. taking approximately three weeks to complete.
