The Westside (as the locals like to call it) has long been appreciated for its quiet beaches, rolling orchard-covered hills, and fantastic outdoor activities. The City takes part in several annual community cultural events that are endorsed by Council or organized in collaboration with other groups. Below are events that the City celebrates in collaboration with partners.

The Fall Fair was packed with autumn fun for all ages.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this inaugural event such a great success. We appreciate all those who voted for their favourites in the Scarecrow Showdown and congratulations to our winner!

A free, fun, family event with activities at the Cultural Pavilions representing more than 30 cultural groups in our community.
