Call for Instructors
Do you have a skill, talent, or hobby you'd love to teach? We're looking for enthusiastic instructors to lead recreation programs and help create engaging experiences for community members of all ages.
Whether you're an experienced instructor, artist, musician, hobbyist, or subject matter expert, we encourage you to apply. We're always interested in new program ideas that bring people together, foster learning, and support lifelong recreation.
Power Skate Instructor
The City of West Kelowna is seeking an energetic, enthusiastic, and responsible individual to instruct skating lessons for the 2026–2027 season.
Schedule: Power Skating – Tuesdays, 3–4 p.m.
Pay Rate: $25.00–$45.00 per hour, based on education and experience.

Skate Lesson Assistant
Under the direction of the Recreation Program and Event Coordinator, the City of West Kelowna is looking for energetic, enthusiastic, responsible, independent people to supervise public skating programs and assist on ice during skating lessons for the 2026-2027 season.
Schedule: Power Skating - Tuesday 3-4 p.m.
Pay Rate: $18.83-$20.71 based on education and experience.
