Boil Water Notice rescinded for Lakeview-Rose Valley System (1)FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The City of West Kelowna, in consultation with Interior Health, has rescinded a Boil Water Notice, for the Lakeview-Rose Valley Water Service Area.
The Boil Water Notice was originally required due to increased turbidity, related to seasonal algal blooms; however, these conditions have now subsided and successive testing and monitoring confirm that the Boil Water Notice can be rescinded.

Temporary closure of Stevens Road begins MondayFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Beginning on Monday, June 20, Stevens Road between Ross Road and the Westlake Roundabout will close for approximately five days to install underground utilities and complete drainage works as part of active transportation upgrades in the Shannon Lake Corridor.
For the safety of crews working on site, the work area must be closed to the public for deep excavation work to take place.
