The City of West Kelowna has initiated Stage 2 water restrictions for utility customers to help reduce demand during drought conditions and protect available supply until further notice.
“Throughout the past month, extreme hot and dry weather has prompted us to move to Stage 2 water restrictions,” said Rob Hillis, Engineering Manager.

Water Quality Advisory issued for Lakeview-Rose Valley Water System (2)FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The City of West Kelowna, in consultation with Interior Health, is issuing a Water Quality Advisory for the Lakeview/Rose Valley System effective immediately and until further notice, due to increasing turbidity in the Rose Valley Reservoir.
Increased turbidity can allow bacteria, viruses and microorganisms to attach themselves to the suspended particles in the turbid water avoiding chlorine disinfection.
