West Kelowna is finishing up the refresh of its popular Wine Route just in time for summer. Crews will close Boucherie Road between Hayman and Stuart Roads, on Thursday, June 11 from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. to conduct spring maintenance.

On Monday, May 4, crews will begin work on Shannon Ridge Drive as part of the City of West Kelowna’s annual road rehabilitation program. This portion of the project will be divided into two phases.

The City of West Kelowna and Visit Westside are bringing back Pop-Ups on the Plaza for summer 2026, offering a variety of free community events from May through September. Held at the City Hall outdoor plaza, the series features yoga, Zumba, pottery workshops, cultural dance classes, family activities and youth events. Residents and visitors can also enjoy Friday Markets on the Plaza before Music in the Park performances. Pop-Ups on the Plaza aims to bring people together through arts, culture, recreation and community connection in the heart of West Kelowna.

From Monday, May 25 to Friday, May 29, crews will complete asphalt remediation on Old Okanagan Highway from Chieftain Road to Reece Road.

More than 17,000 City of West Kelowna property tax notices are being sent and payments are due by 4:30 p.m. on July 2.
