The City of West Kelowna, in consultation with Interior Health, is upgrading a Water Quality Advisory for the Rose Valley – Sunnyside/Pritchard Service Area to a Boil Water Notice, effective immediately and until further notice, due to increasing turbidity at the Lake Okanagan intake.

Active transportation upgrades are coming soon to the Boucherie Corridor to enhance safety and improve connections to key destinations.
Beginning next week, crews will begin on-road construction of a new multi-use pathway and complete road widening, lighting, and drainage upgrades on Boucherie Road.

The City of West Kelowna, in consultation with Interior Health, is issuing a Water Quality Advisory, until further notice, for the Rose Valley – West Kelowna Estates System due to an increase in freshet-related turbidity in Okanagan Lake.
A previously issued Water Quality Advisory also remains in effect in the Rose Valley – Lakeview System, until further notice.

A previously issued Water Quality Advisory also remains in effect in the Rose Valley – Lakeview System, until further notice.

Self-serve sand and sandbag locations in West KelownaIn the event of possible localized flooding, the City of West Kelowna has stocked sand and sandbags at self-serve locations.
As a precaution, with the warmer temperatures in the forecast, sand and sandbags will be available, for residents needing to protect their properties during spring freshet, as follows:
- 3170C Shannon Lake Road, located via the Kinsmen Park lower maintenance driveway.
