Declaration of Election by Acclamation and Voting

Public notice is hereby given that an election by voting is to be held to elect six (6) Councillors and one (1) School Trustee, and that a candidate has been declared elected by acclamation to the office of Mayor, for the 2026-2030 term.

DECLARATION OF ELECTION BY ACCLAMATION

At 4 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 21, 2026, Polly Palmer, Chief Election Officer declared the following candidate elected by acclamation:

OFFICE OF MAYOR

JOHNSTON, Stephen

Accordingly, no election by voting will be held for the office of Mayor.

Stephen Johnston will take office as Mayor once he is sworn in with the rest of the elected Council at the Inaugural Meeting on Nov. 3, 2026.

Election by voting will be held on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2026, for the following offices:
