Boil Water Notice downgraded to Water Quality Advisory in the Lakeview SystemFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The City of West Kelowna, in consultation with Interior Health, is downgrading the Boil Water Notice for the Lakeview-Rose Valley System to a Water Quality Advisory, effective immediately.
The Boil Water Notice was required to complete an important construction milestone to tie in a 600mm main that will eventually connect the Lakeview-Rose Valley System to the future water treatment plant.

Outdoor water use permitted, Boil Water Notice continues in Lakeview-Rose Valley SystemFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASESeptember 11, 2020With work on the first water main tie-in for Rose Valley Water Treatment Plant now completed, automated outdoor domestic and agricultural water use will be permitted in the Lakeview-Rose Valley Water System starting at midnight tonight. New urgent and primary health centre announced for the Westside
BC Health Minister Adrian Dix announced that the province’s 19th Urgent and Primary Care Centre will be located at 2484 Main Street in Westbank Centre. Mayor and Council applauded the announcement and thanked Minister Dix, Health Ministry staff, Interior Health, Kelowna-Westside MLA Ben Stewart, Westbank First Nation Chief Chris Derickson and Peachland Mayor Cindy Fortin for their support.
