    Letter to property owners - Info on planned Rose Valley Water Treatment Plant Parcel Tax

    The City of West Kelowna has mailed a letter to property owners in the Rose Valley Water Treatment Plant Local Area Service to provide information about the next steps for the transfer of their share of the Rose Valley Water Treatment Plant and Connecting Transmission Mains Project from their quarterly utility bill to an annual parcel tax in 2026.

    Gellatly Road multi-use corridor now 30 km/h

    The speed limit between Boucherie Road and Gellatly Road South has officially been reduced to 30 km/h.

    New regulatory signs are now in place, and the 30 km/h speed limit is enforceable by the RCMP.

    Westbank Centre Park remains open during temporary traffic pattern changes along May Street

    The City of West Kelowna is advising visitors to Westbank Centre Park to be aware of ongoing construction within the park area.

    To support the construction of the new George Pringle Secondary School, a single-lane alternating traffic pattern is currently in effect along May Street.

    Stage 2 outdoor watering regulations are now in effect

    The City of West Kelowna has implemented Stage 2 outdoor watering regulations, effective immediately and until further notice, for all utility customers due to provincial drought conditions and to help conserve our community’s water resources.

    Watering schedule for Stage 2:

    • Even-numbered addresses may only water Saturdays and Tuesdays; see additional Stage 2 regulations below for specific times.

    As a result of the work, a section of McDougall Road from will be closed to motorists from 2170 McDougall Road to Stevens Road.
