Stage 2 water regulations now in effectFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASEWednesday, April 24, 2024The City of West Kelowna has implemented Stage 2 water regulations, effective immediately and until further notice, for all utility customers to reduce demand during drought and protect available supplies.Under Stage 2 regulations outdoor irrigation of lawns and landscapes are only permitted as follows:
- Even numbered addresses may water on Saturdays and Tuesdays.

New collective agreement ratified at City of West KelownaFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Tuesday, April 23, 2024The City of West Kelowna and the Association of Local Government Employees Union (ALGEU) have reached a new four-year collective agreement, following three days of bargaining from April 10 to 12.
The agreement, which the ALGEU ratified on April 17 and which West Kelowna City Council ratified on April 23, provides 155 full-time and 40 relief and term positions with wage increases that are consistent with recent labour agreements elsewhere in B.Apr 24, 2024

Traffic Advisory: Road paving on Boucherie Road starts this weekMonday, April 8, 2024
Beginning this week, construction crews are scheduled to complete paving along Boucherie Road as part of the remaining active transportation upgrades and emergency watermain work along the Boucherie Multi-use Pathway.
This work is expected to occur from Tuesday, April 9 through to Thursday, April 11, a single-lane alternating traffic pattern will be in effect on Boucherie Road from Oak Barrel Place to Gregory Road from 7:00 a.

Annual watermain flushing program resumesTuesday, March 26, 2024With the return of consistently warmer overnight temperatures, crews can resume the City’s annual watermain flushing program, which will proceed in scheduled zones, to remove accumulated sediment within the distribution system.During flushing, which will resume in Zone 3, in the general Lakeview Heights neighbourhood, customers may experience reduced water pressure or discolouration.Mar 26, 2024
