Section of McDougall Road closed for repair work on July 16

On Wednesday, July 16, AEL will be completing road repairs on a section of McDougall Road.

As a result of the work, a section of McDougall Road from will be closed to motorists from 2170 McDougall Road to Stevens Road. A detour will be place along Rosewood Drive to Westlake Road.

Crews are scheduled to work from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The construction schedule is subject to weather conditions, contractor schedule changes and other factors.

Motorists are advised to allow for extra travel time when driving through the detour. For the safety of crews and residents in the area, please drive with caution, and follow directions of traffic-control personnel.

The City of West Kelowna thanks motorists and area residents for their patience and understanding while the work is completed safely and as quickly as possible.
