The creation of bylaws and the development and evaluation of policies builds a governing framework that promotes openness, accountability, and responsible leadership for the community.

The following list contains our most widely used bylaws. Please note that bylaws are provided online for information or research purposes only. Every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the bylaws is posted on our website.

These posted bylaws are either its original adopted form or a 'consolidated' version and includes amendments up to the date listed in the bylaw heading. It is placed on the Internet for convenience only. These are not the official or legal version and should not be used in place of certified copies which can be obtained through the Legislative Services Department. Plans, pictures, other graphics, or text in the legal version may be missing or altered in this electronic version.
