Agricultural Advisory Committee
The Agricultural Advisory Committee (AAC) assists staff and West Kelowna City Council in protecting, enhancing and promoting agriculture within the municipality.
Accessibility and Inclusion Committee
The Accessibility and Inclusion Committee (AIC) assists staff and West Kelowna City Council on strategies to reduce social, physical, and sensory barriers that prevent people from fully participating in all aspects of community life.
Advisory Planning Commission
The Advisory Planning Commission (APC) is established per Bylaw 0098 to provide feedback to City of West Kelowna Council and staff on matters respecting land use, community planning, and proposed bylaws and certain permits under Part 14 of the Local Government Act.
Board of Variance
The Board of Variance is a quasi-judicial body independent from West Kelowna City Council that is required under Section 536 of the Local Government Act and established per Bylaw 0056. The board handles applications for minor variances where compliance with the Zoning Bylaw would cause a person undue hardship.
