Stage 2 Water Regulations now in effect - July 17, 2023

The City of West Kelowna has initiated Stage 2 water regulations for utility customers to help reduce demand during drought conditions and protect available supply until further notice.

Below normal seasonal precipitation and high customer demand are causing reservoir levels to decline rapidly.

Mount Boucherie Pickleball Courts closed for maintenance

Beginning Wednesday, July 12, the pickleball courts at the Mount Boucherie Sports Fields will be temporarily closed for maintenance.

Work will include pressure washing, court resurfacing, installation of new black out fabric and installation of a bike rack.

Next stages of water transmission mains construction starts this week on Westlake Road and Menu Road

Beginning this week, construction crews will complete paving and start the next stages of work on Westlake Road and Menu Road to install the final sections of watermains to connect to the Rose Valley Water Treatment Plant.

On Tuesday, July 11, crews are scheduled to pave Westlake Road from Horizon Drive to West Kelowna Road.

A section of Boucherie Road will temporarily close next week for pathway and road upgrades

Starting next week, a section of Boucherie Road will be temporarily closed to vehicle traffic for installation of a pathway, bike lanes and safety enhancements at the Montingy intersection as part of the Boucherie Multi-use Pathway Project and road upgrades.

Beginning Thursday, July 13, crews will close Boucherie Road from Ogden Road to Montigny Road for improvements which include dedicated bike lanes, storm improvements and the extension of the multi-use.
