  What's new and coming soon

Starting May 2026: Flexible plastics will be collected in pink boxes, and non-deposit glass bottles and jars will be collected in grey boxes. Boxes will be delivered between February and April. Until your first collection date for pink and grey boxes happens in May, please continue to take flexible plastics and non-deposit glass to the Asquith Road Transfer Station. What goes in your blue-lidded recycling cart will not change before, during or after this process. If you have questions or would like further information about the new service, please visit recyclebc.ca/centralokanagan.

Billing inquiries - help with your quarterly bill

Bills are mailed quarterly in January, April, July and October and are due on the 15th of the following month. You can view your latest bill by registering or logging in to our online services system, emailing us or calling our Utility Billing Department at 778-797-8850.
Cart placement - how to properly place your cart at the curb
Park it
  • Place your bins curbside between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on collection day with wheels against the street curb or shoulder
Point it
  • Face the arrow on the cart lid towards the road
Place it
  • Leave one metre between carts and obstacles
  • Leave room for pedestrians, cyclists and snowplows
  • Don't block driveways
Close it
  • All materials must fit entirely in carts with lids shut
Cart replacements - how to replace damaged carts

How to replace your bins:

  • Please directly contact Environmental 360 Solutions (E360S) at 250-868-3211 or by emailing info-bc@e360s.ca.

Cart upgrades - how to request larger or additional bins

Do you need larger or additional bins?

You can upgrade your:

  • Garbage bin to 240 litres for an added annual fee
  • Recycling bin to 360 litres for no charge or fee
  • Yard waste bin to 360 litres for an added charge and annual fee

How to upgrade your bins:

  • For more information, please download, print and fill out our Waste Cart Change Out Request Form.
Missed collections - who to call

Was your waste not collected?

If you put your bins to the curb at the correct date and time, with the lid closed, and the collection was missed, please contact E360 Solutions at 250-868-3211.

Why might your collection have been missed?

Weather and roads can interfere with collection, or if the bin is so full that the lid does not shut, the automated trucks can not hoist the bin. If so, please put aside some of that overflowing material for the next collection.
