West Kelowna is doing summer maintenance on its popular Wine Route and will close Boucherie Road between Hayman and Stuart Roads, on Thursday, Aug. 13 from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Work on the next phase of the Shannon Lake asphalt remediation project is set to begin on Tuesday, Aug. 4.

From Monday, July 27 to Monday Aug. 10, 2026, road closures and traffic disruptions are expected as part of a BC Hydro-led road project occurring across multiple jurisdictions, including West Bank First Nation and City of West Kelowna.

Motorists are advised to expect minor traffic delays on Saturday, July 18 due to the World of Wheels Car Show at Kinsmen Athletic Park at 3170 Shannon Lake Road.

On Monday, July 20, crews will begin work on Phase 1 of the Brentwood Pedestrian Project, which will include improvements along Brentwood Road between Alhambra Drive and Ponderosa Court. 

On Tuesday, June 23, crews will install a new commemorative crosswalk at the intersection of Elliott Road and Dobbin Road to pay tribute to Canadian veterans and active service members.

West Kelowna is finishing up the refresh of its popular Wine Route just in time for summer. Crews will close Boucherie Road between Hayman and Stuart Roads, on Thursday, June 11 from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. to conduct spring maintenance.

The City of West Kelowna is investing $2.5 million to improve approximately 20 lane kilometers of roads through its annual Road Rehabilitation Program.

On Thursday, April 16 from 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m., Boucherie Road will be closed between Hayman and Stuart Roads to conduct spring maintenance.

Starting Monday, March 16, crews are scheduled to complete paving along Boucherie Road as part of the City of West Kelowna’s annual road rehabilitation program.
