Temporary traffic impacts for commemorative crosswalk installation at Elliott Road and Dobbin Road

On Tuesday, June 23, crews will install a new commemorative crosswalk at the intersection of Elliott Road and Dobbin Road to pay tribute to Canadian veterans and active service members.

Work is scheduled to take place between 9 and 11 p.m. and will require traffic control measures, including a temporary road closure while crews complete the work.

Access for emergency services will be maintained throughout the project. Motorists should expect traffic control personnel to be on site and brief delays during construction hours.

Crews will work as quickly and safely as possible to complete this work within the scheduled timeframe; however, the schedule is subject to weather conditions, contractor scheduling, and other factors.

For everyone’s safety, please follow traffic control signs, obey posted speed limits, and use caution when travelling through the work zone.
