Road rehab to start on lower Glenrosa and Glencoe Road
Date of Issue: Friday, Sept. 18, 2026
Road rehabilitation work on Lower Glenrosa Road and Glencoe Road is set to begin on Monday, Sept. 21, 2026.
This two-week project will include asphalt remediation works in Lower Glenrosa Road from Paynter Road to Webber Road and Glencoe Road from Lower Glenrosa Road to Taneda Road.
Drivers can expect single lane alternating traffic during construction times between 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Monday to Friday. Two-way traffic will resume in evenings after 6 p.m., and on weekends. Access to driveways, businesses, and emergency services will be maintained.
During daytime construction hours, motorists should expect traffic control personnel and brief delays. Crews will work as quickly and safely as possible to complete this work within the provided timeline, but the schedule may change subject to weather conditions, contractor scheduling, and other factors.
Please also note that no parking along these roadways is permitted during this time. Bylaw enforcement will be active, and vehicles parked in work areas may be towed in order to complete the work.
For everyone’s safety and out of respect for neighbours, please follow traffic control signs and personnel, slow down and follow posted speed limits in and around work zones and detour routes.
We thank commuters and residents for your patience while this work is completed.
