Payment options

We recommend you pay online through your financial institution:

  • Select WEST KELOWNA – TAXES as the payee.
  • Use your roll number starting with 364 as the account number, with no dashes, spaces, or periods.
  • Record your transaction confirmation, which must have a date of July 2 or earlier.
  • Note that the Canada Day holiday on July 1 may delay processing times.

We recommend paying early to allow processing times as we must receive payment before 4:30 p.m. July 2 and the Wednesday, July 1 Canada Day holiday may delay processing times.

Alternatively, you may pay in person at City Hall, at 3731 Old Okanagan Highway, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. City Hall will be closed on Canada Day, Wednesday, July 1.

If paying in-person, the final week before the due date can be busy at times; please be prepared for lines; thanks for your patience.

  • Pay by cash, cheque, or debit; ensure debit card limits are sufficient to cover the balance owing on taxes; make cheques payable to City of West Kelowna; consider putting your roll number in the cheque’s memo line.
  • For cheque payments, an after-hours drop box is also available, located on the south side of City Hall across from the EV charging stations.
  • The city does not accept credit cards but can accept cheques from credit card companies; or credit card payments can be made for a fee, through companies like Plasitq or PaySimply.

If you are enrolled in our Pre-Authorized Payment Plan, visit online.westkelownacity.ca and log in to check your balance owning and pay the amount before 4:30 p.m. July 2.

Council adopted the City’s 2026–2030 Financial Plan in careful consideration of public consultation, incorporating cuts that reduced the budget increase for municipal taxes to 6.638 per cent, from 8.6 per cent; the City of West Kelowna does collect taxes for other governments but does not set what amounts they collect.
