Advance polls closed strong leading into General Local Election Day on Saturday, Oct. 15

The four advance polls and special voting opportunities for the City of West Kelowna election resulted in 1,616 votes cast by the time the last advance poll, on Thursday, Oct. 13, closed at 8 p.m.

On General Local Election Day, Saturday, Oct. 15, residents will have three voting locations to choose from, including:

• Westbank Lions Community Centre - 2466 Main Street
• Constable Neil Bruce Middle School - 2010 Daimler Drive
• Mar Jok Elementary School - 2101 McDougall Road

Make voting a part of your day. All polls will be open from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. Voters can register onsite at any location and bring two pieces of ID, at least one with a signature, to the polling station to prove residency in West Kelowna and identity.

All unofficial results, including those from the advanced polls, mail-in and special voting will be posted to the City website at westkelownacity.ca/2022election soon after the close of general voting at 8 p.m.
