A summer full of festivities begins this weekend in West Kelowna
Kick start your summer with some weekend activities before celebrating Canada Day next week. Here are ways you can celebrate and be apart of the action:
Music in the Park – Friday, June 26, 2026
On Friday, June 26, take in our first free Music in the Park concert of the summer. These family-friendly concerts run every Friday evening, starting June 26, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. in the Annette Beaudreau Amphitheatre at Memorial Park at 3737 Old Okanagan Highway. The concert series takes one short break Friday, July 10 for the great line-up of Westside Daze concerts that weekend and then be back on July 18 to continue our Friday night concert series until Aug. 21. Multiculturalism Day - Saturday, June 27, 2026
Join the Westbank Museum and over 30 cultural community groups and community partners at this year's Westside Multiculturalism Day on Saturday, June 27 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Constable Neil Bruce Middle School Sports Fields, 2010 Daimler Road. This is a free, family-friendly event celebrating the diversity of the Greater Westside!
Canada Day - Wednesday, July 1, 2026
Celebrate Canada Day with family activities, crafts and food vendors, kids' zone, inflatables, cupcakes and more. The volunteer-run Westside Celebration Society has scheduled a full day of free festivities on Wednesday, July 1 at Memorial Park at 3737 Old Okanagan Highway. The city is a proud participant and sponsor of the day's festivities, but please contact the society if you have questions about the event. The Westside Daze drone show will be held in place of fireworks on Saturday, July 11, 2026, as other nearby communities hold fireworks on Canada Day.
