    The City of West Kelowna, in consultation with Interior Health, is issuing a Water Quality Advisory, until further notice, for the Sunnyside/Pritchard Water Service Area due to increased turbidity in Okanagan Lake in the vicinity of the system’s intake station.

    Lakeview-Rose Valley System returns to Water Quality Advisory instead of Boil Water Notice

    The City of West Kelowna, in consultation with Interior Health, is downgrading an existing Boil Water Notice to a Water Quality Advisory, until further notice, for the entire Lakeview-Rose Valley Water Service Area.

  • Boil Water Notice issued for entire Lakeview-Rose Valley Service Area

    The City of West Kelowna, in consultation with Interior Health, is upgrading an existing Water Quality Advisory to a Boil Water Notice, until further notice, for the entire Lakeview-Rose Valley Water Service Area, due to increased turbidity.

    Turbidity effects the performance of the chlorine disinfection process because bacteria, protozoa, viruses and other microorganisms can attach themselves to suspended particles in the turbid water.
