Signs will be posted in areas where crews are flushing mains.

October 15, 2019The City of West Kelowna has rescinded the precautionary Boil Water Notice put in place on October 10 for parts of the downtown core – Westbank Centre - which was the result of a water main break on Old Okanagan Highway.
The Water Quality Advisory remains in place for the Lakeview System.

The area affected stretches from Paynter Road continuing east to Carrall Road and from Butt Road south as far as Powers Creek.

October 07, 2019Working in conjunction with the Interior Health Authority, the City of West Kelowna has issued a Water Quality Advisory for the Lakeview Water System due to elevated turbidity in water drawn from the Rose Valley Reservoir.
A Water Quality Advisory means children, the elderly, people with weakened immunity and anyone else seeking added protection should use boiled water, or an alternate, safe source, for drinking, brushing teeth, washing fruits and vegetables, preparing.

Localized Water Quality Advisory Rescinded For Rose Valley PropertiesFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The advisory had been required since Tuesday, September 3 because of higher than normal turbidity, which was the result of a water line break at a construction site.
