Water Quality Advisory rescinded for Rose Valley-Lakeview Water Service Area
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Thursday, Nov. 10, 2022
The City of West Kelowna, in consultation with Interior Health, has rescinded the Water Quality Advisory for the Rose Valley-Lakeview Water Service Area, as conditions at the source and in the network have improved.
Free access to the bulk filling station at Shannon Lake and Asquith Roads will continue until further notice. Customers are advised to use caution while filling as icy conditions may be present. The tap is located on the Asquith Road side of the facility. Please bring clean bottles for filling.
In advance of connecting residents to the Rose Valley Water Treatment Plant, watermain flushing will continue in isolated areas within the Rose Valley Water System (West Kelowna Estates, Sunnyside/Pritchard and Lakeview) as weather conditions allow. Signage will be posted in areas where watermains are being flushed by crews.
