Section of Old Okanagan Highway closed for FireSmart Family Day

On Saturday, May 28 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Old Okanagan Highway in front of Fire Hall #31, will be closed in both directions between Drought and Apollo Roads in Westbank Centre, to accommodate crowds expected to attend FireSmart Family Day.

Please respect crews, slow down in cone zones and maintain posted speeds along detour routes, which include Brown Road via Highway 97 and Gossett and Apollo and Drought Roads.

Remember to bring the whole family to Fire Hall #31, 3651 Old Okanagan Highway, on May 28, 2022 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. to enjoy free FireSmart Family Day games and activities and food and refreshments, meet Sparky the Fire Dog and local firefighters, check out the fire engines and equipment on display and watch a live auto extrication demonstration.
