FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
December 17, 2020
The City of West Kelowna has mailed business licence renewal notices this week and reminds owners of the Jan. 31 payment deadline to avoid the $25 late charge.
The City encourages business owners to pay for licences in one of the following ways:
- Online through their financial institutions
- Search and select West Kelowna City – Business Licences as the payee
2. By cheque through the mail or via the drop box next to the Municipal Hall main entrance, at 2760 Cameron Road, West Kelowna, BC V1Z 2T6
- Make cheques payable to City of West Kelowna and include the account number in the memo line
As part of the renewal process, let the City know of any account updates for 2021, such as new location, primary contact changes, transfer of ownership, etc.
To make inquiries or update your business information, email business.licensing@westkelownacity.ca or call 778-797-8810.
Businesses can also renew intercommunity business licence through this process.
Upon receiving payment, the City will send owners their updated 2021 licences, which are effective Jan. 1 to Dec. 31, to display in their businesses.
