#OURWK Visioning Process – Upcoming Opportunities to Participate

Dear West Kelowna Community Member,

In mid-June, the City of West Kelowna launched a Community Visioning process – #OURWK to help shape the future of our community. Participants have already provided many great insights and now the City is looking to dig deeper into topics that will be part of the Community Vision.

We’d like to highlight a few upcoming engagement opportunities:

• Weekly Topics: Each week we’ll be focusing on a topic that is important to the Community Vision. This is a chance to share your thoughts on the topics that matter most to you. Each week there will be a short questionnaire on the weekly topic along with opportunities to learn and engage. The full listing of weekly topics is attached please visit ourwk.cafor details.
• Online Workshops: Over the coming weeks we’ll be hosting a series of 4 online workshops to discuss key topics for the Community Vision. Join other participants in these interactive discussions. Please go to the Sign-up Page at ourwk.ca to sign up for the workshops you’d like to join.
• Photo Challenge: Each week we’re challenging community members to share their West Kelowna through photos by uploading them to ourwk.caor sharing on Instagram with the weekly hashtag. The challenge will correspond with the weekly topic and participants will be entered into a draw for a community prize like a rec or transit pass. • #OURWK Input Questionnaire: Our main questionnaire is open for the duration of the Phase 1 Engagement. We’ve already received hundreds of responses and we’re looking for even more. If you haven’t already, complete aquestionnaire and enter our prize draw.
