Memorial park planning to begin

Date of Issue: Thursday, Feb. 12, 2026

The City of West Kelowna is updating the Memorial Park Plan to help guide future uses, investments and amenities in the park over the next 10 years.

Residents and park user groups are invited to help shape the future of Memorial Park by sharing their ideas and priorities. Join us at the open house on Thursday, Feb. 26 from 4 to 6 p.m. at West Kelowna City Hall Council Chambers at 3731 Old Okanagan Highway.

This first phase of engagement focuses on gathering input on potential programming and amenities for the park. Community feedback at this stage will help inform the development of concept options, which will be shared in the next round of community engagement.

Community input will help shape priorities and ensure the Memorial Park Plan reflects the evolving needs of our West Kelowna community.
