Let the groove move you at this week’s Music in the Park

This Friday, Music in the Park brings a high-energy lineup that will have you on your feet all night long.

Kicking off the night is Jodie B, a dynamic producer and live-loop artist whose sound blends hip-hop, electronic, and soul influences. Having opened for legendary hip-hop acts and performed at Shambhala, she brings a unique energy and creativity that connects and inspires.

Then, headliner Nouveau Funk takes the stage! An electrifying eight-piece band that reimagines funk, R&B, and hip-hop classics with a high-energy, New Orleans jazz-inspired twist. With bold horns, groovy basslines, and irresistible rhythms, they’ll have the whole park on its feet.

This free, family-friendly event takes place Friday nights at the scenic Annette Beaudreau Amphitheatre at Memorial Park, located at 3737 Old Okanagan Highway.

Concert details

The 2025 Music in the Park season runs through Friday, Aug. 22, with concerts taking place every Friday evening.

Each show runs from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. and features three performances:

• Emerging artist - 6:40 p.m.
• Opening act - 7:00 p.m.
• Headliner - 8:00 p.m.

On-site fun and food

Come early to enjoy the Fun Zone, hosted by West Kelowna Recreation and Culture, with games and activities for all ages. Each week, a variety of food trucks will also be on-site serving up local eats and beverages. Find the full food truck line-up online at westkelownacity.ca/musicinthepark.

Free parking is available at several nearby locations, including:

• Carrington Court (Westbank First Nation)
• Corner of Old Okanagan Highway and Ingram Road

Concert postponement

If a concert needs to be postponed due to extreme weather, poor air quality, or emergencies, notice will be shared by 6:30 p.m. on event day via the City’s official social media channels.
