Help shape future land use in West Kelowna, apply to sit on the Advisory Planning Commission

Keep your finger on the pulse of West Kelowna growth by serving on the Advisory Planning Commission.

The City seeks five to seven community members to fill at-large, volunteer positions for a three-year term, ending Dec. 31, 2024. Find application forms online at westkelownacity.ca/councilcommittees, or pick up a copy at Municipal Hall.

The Commission’s purpose is to advise Council on matters respecting land use and community planning, proposed bylaws and certain permits specified in Part 14 of the Local Government Act. Learn more about the Commission’s mandate, criteria and meeting procedures in Bylaw No. 0098, which is posted on the City’s website at westkelownacity.ca/bylaws or available to be picked up at Municipal Hall, located at 2760 Cameron Road, West Kelowna, BC.
