Date of Issue: Tuesday, June 24, 2025

We’re excited to welcome our community and visitors back to West Kelowna’s annual Music in the Park summer concert series! This free, family-friendly event takes place Friday nights at the scenic Annette Beaudreau Amphitheatre at Memorial Park, located at 3737 Old Okanagan Highway.

Opening night: A global rhythm experience

Kick off the 2025 season with an exciting night of world music! Join us on Friday, June 27, as Bobby Bovenzi and Nankama open the season with a journey through vibrant global rhythms.

Start the evening with a free drumming workshop hosted by Bobby Bovenzi at 6:15 p.m. Bring your own djembe, or come early to use one provided by Nankama.

After the workshop, enjoy a dymanic evening of music and dance with the West African drumming and dance of Nankama, followed by the captivating Cuban and Latin American sounds of Alma Kubana.
