FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

August 13, 2019

Join us Friday, August 16 at 6:40 p.m. in the Annette Beaudreau Amphitheater where emerging artist Bran Saunders, opening act The Heels and headliner Kentucky Eileen have a great show prepared for the City West Kelowna’s Music in the Park.

Kentucky Eileen is a local folk and bluegrass band. Members include Joshua Smith, Daniel Tait, Mitchell Howanyk and Samuel Balson. Kentucky Eileen is a new quartet who bases their work around “melodic swells and four-part harmonies” Pulling inspiration from Roger Miller, the Punch Brothers and Ricky Skaggs, Kentucky Eileen takes traditional American folk and bluegrass and gives it a dash of “Canadian flavour” Don’t miss out on this upcoming genre and an entertaining performance.

At 7:00 p.m. is opener The Heels, a country band based out of Vancouver. Band members include Bobbi Smith, Brittni Dominelli, and Kayla Rawlins.
