Family Day fun in West Kelowna

Get active together this Family Day at any one of our free community activities planned for Monday, Feb. 16. There’s something for everyone.

Enjoy a public skate at Jim Lind Arena, join Dome Play Day at the Multi-Sport Dome, or take part in our craft station and a family obstacle course at Mar Jok Elementary School.

FREE Family Day fun activities on Monday, Feb. 16:

• Multi-Sport Dome, 2139 McDougall Road:
  • 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. – Dome Play Day (0–5 years and 6+ years sections)

• Mar Jok Elementary School, 2101 McDougall Road:
  • 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. – Family Obstacle Course at the Mar Jok Elementary School Gym
  • 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. – Craft Station in the Mar Jok Elementary School Multi-Purpose Room

• Jim Lind Arena, 2760 Cameron Road
  • 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. – Big & Little Skate (5 and under)
  • 12:45 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. – Public Skate (open to everyone)

  • Saturday, Feb. 14, 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. - Public Skate (open to everyone)
  • Sunday, Feb. 15, 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. – Big & Little Skate (5 and under)
  • Sunday, Feb. 15, 2:45 to 4 p.m. – Public Skate (open to everyone)

Other activities

Would you rather go swimming? The Family Day weekend public swim runs Feb. 14 – 16 from 12 to 4 p.m. at Johnson Bentley Memorial Aquatic Centre. Look on pages 18-20 of our Winter Rec Guide for rates and schedule at westkelownacity.ca/recguide.

Join a Family Day Weekend Pottery Workshop at the Westbank Museum at 2376 Dobbin Road. Various start times and registration is required. Classes are $40. Learn more and register online.
