The City of West Kelowna invites the community to view our draft 2020 Annual Report and provide comments.

Despite COVID-19, we pressed forward with several key infrastructure projects and community initiatives, including the start of Rose Valley Water Treatment Plant civil site works, Glenrosa Road active transportation improvements, our Community Vision and relief for people facing financial hardships due to the pandemic. The annual report provides a summary of these 2020 defining moments and more.

Check out the draft report at westkelownacity.ca/annualreport and then send your comments to communications@westkelownacity.ca before the close of our public feedback period at 4:30 p.m. June 21. The City will then present the annual report to Council for final consideration at the June 22 Regular Meeting, which starts at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers at 2760 Cameron Road.

In addition to highlighting our program, service and project achievements for the last full operating year, the annual report provides an update on ongoing progress to achieve Council’s Strategic Priorities objectives and provides the City’s permissive tax exemptions, grants in aid and audited financial statements.

During COVID-19 we continue to provide enhanced digital services and we encourage you to take the safest and greenest approach and view the online version of the report on our website. If you wish to have a paper copy of the report prepared, please call in advance to 778-797-1000 to arrange pick up.
