Johnson Bentley Memorial Aquatic Centre (JBMAC) is an easily accessible multi-use facility where people of all ages and abilities gather together to enjoy recreation activities! We "Promote Safe Swimming and Healthy Lifestyles" for all participants.

All of our program delivery is in keeping with the regulations and guidelines set out by Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry.
- There will continue to be shortened hours and modified classes to comply with Provincial Health Orders.
- Indoor group fitness, including Aqua Fitness have resumed at a low intensity.
- Limited number of participants in Swim Lessons, Lane Swims, Aqua & Land Fitness Classes, General Programs and Weight Room.
- Updates to program procedures and classes will be communicated to participants, parents or guardians as required.
- In-person registration for programs is available during our facility hours.
- For Swim Kids 1-4, one parent is encouraged to join the class in the water to assist your child if necessary.
- Please wear your bathing suit when you come to the pool.
- No lockers available, but we will have a place for you to put your belongings on the pool deck.
- Limited use of change rooms.
- The Steam Room or the use of the Spectator Lounge is not available.
- Please note, use procedures are based on the British Columbia Recreation and Parks Association guidelines found here.

Programming

Public Swimming
- We ask that you limit your booking to one day a week and only book the members of your household.
- Each person coming to Public Swim MUST be registered. Register online starting Fridays at 9:00 a.m.
- Any children under the age of 13yrs MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult (16yrs+) to help enforce physical distancing and pool maximums. Children under the age of 7yrs must be within arms reach of an adult at all times.
- Limited attendance.
Call-In & Reserve Programs
- Lane Swim, Water Walking/Physio, Drop-in Land Fitness and the Weight Room
- Aqua Fitness
- Starting Sundays, you MUST reserve (in-person or telephone only) up to two spots/program for the upcoming week. Please call the front desk at 778-797-7665 for more details.
Red Cross Swim Lessons
- The West Kelowna Winter Recreation Guide is available on the Recreation Guide Page. JBMAC General registration begins November 30 and Red Cross Swim Lesson registration begins Dec 10.
