Local restaurants and wineries receive National Geographic accolades

Council congratulated four West Kelowna wineries and restaurants featured in a National Geographic article that recognizes our region as one of the world’s top food destinations. Volcanic Hills Estate Winery, Little Straw Vineyard and TULA Restaurant, Quails’ Gate Winery and Old Vines Restaurant, and Mission Hill Family Estate were praised for award-winning, farm-to-table dining experiences.

Public input provided to Council for the West Kelowna Transmission Project

Council dedicated the May 26 meeting to receiving public input regarding BC Hydro’s West Kelowna Transmission Project, which is in the planning and design stage and open to feedback on proposed route options.
