Celebrate the arts at Culture Days in West Kelowna

The City of West Kelowna is inviting residents to take part in Culture Days, a national celebration supporting local arts and culture.

From Sept. 18 through Oct. 4, 2026, Culture Days programs invite the public to get involved and highlight the importance of arts and culture in our communities. During this multi-week celebration, the City of West Kelowna will host events inspired by creativity and the season.

Culture Days is part of a bigger initiative for the City of West Kelowna's Recreation and Culture Department, who provide year-round programming for residents of all ages.

Discover these Culture Days events and programs hosted by the City of West Kelowna:

Mooncake Making Workshop

• Date: Sept. 23, 2026
• Time: 6 - 8 p.m.
• Where: Westbank Lions Community Centre, Kitchen (2466 Main Street)
• Cost: Free

Discover the art of mooncake making in this hands-on workshop, where you will learn the techniques behind this beloved cultural treat. Guided by an experienced instructor, you will prepare, shape and decorate your own mooncakes.

Fall Fest

•  Date: Oct. 3, 2026
• Time: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Where: Paynter's Fruit Market (3687 Paynter Road)
• Cost: Free

Drop by and join us for a day of fun fall activities, including pumpkin painting, photos in the pumpkin patch and a mini market. We look forward to seeing you there!
