The City of West Kelowna's Purchasing Department procures and keeps records of the City of West Kelowna's purchases of goods and services through accountable and transparent processes. The City's policies and procedures ensure that purchases go to the lowest qualified bidders, in cases where tenders are issued, and that prices paid are the best value to taxpayers, in matters where a formal tender process is not required.

Auctions and sales of surplus goods |
The City auctions off computer equipment and mobile devices on Ebay from time to time. Vehicles and larger equipment, in good working order, are sold through various other methods, but typically at local auctions. For more information on the sale of used city equipment, furniture, mobile devices and vehicles, please contact the Purchasing Department. |
