Westside Daze offers a weekend of rides, parades, and fun!

Join the City of West Kelowna in celebrating Westside Daze this weekend!

From the afternoon of Thursday, July 9, through Sunday afternoon, July 12, enjoy the annual Westside Daze festivities hosted by the Westside Celebration Society. You can expect to see an amusement park, parade, a kids zone, food trucks, a drone show and live entertainment! 

The City of West Kelowna is a proud supporter of this beloved community event and is excited to take part in the fun, including the parade on Saturday, July 11 at 10:30 a.m. until 12 p.m., and the Kids Zone and family activities at Memorial Park from noon to 4 p.m.

Parade route information and traffic advisory

The main road to view the parade is Old Okanagan Road between Butt Road and Main Street.

To accommodate the Westside Daze parade, road closures and minor traffic interruptions will be in effect in Westbank Centre. Please be advised that the following roads are closed from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 11 for the annual Westside Daze parade. 

  • Old Okanagan Road from Main Street to Butt Road
  •  Butt Road between Elliott Road and Old Okanagan Highway
  • Bering Road between Elliott Road and Old Okanagan Highway
  • Gossett Road between Elliott Road and Old Okanagan Highway
  • Drought Road between Elliott Road and Old Okanagan Highway
  • Apollo Road
  • Brown Road between Main Street and Butt Road
  • Brendalee Road
  • Hoskins Road

Accesses to residences in these areas will be maintained. Parking along the parade route will be restricted to accommodate participants and spectators.

Other Westside Daze activities

After the parade, stop by our Recreation and Culture tent during the Kids Zone and family activities from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 11, at Memorial Park.

Returning this year is the Westside Daze Drone Show, which will light up the sky above the Annette Beaudreau Amphitheatre at Memorial Park! Enjoy an evening of good music on Saturday and then stay seated in Memorial Park and look up to watch the show in the sky at approximately 10 p.m. on Saturday, July 11.
