Traffic advisory: Road paving on Boucherie Road to begin next week

Starting Monday, March 16, crews are scheduled to complete paving along Boucherie Road as part of the City of West Kelowna’s annual road rehabilitation program.

Drivers can expect single lane alternating traffic on Boucherie Road from Pritchard Drive to Gregory Road from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Monday to Friday for approximately three weeks.

During daytime construction hours, motorists should expect traffic control personnel and brief delays. Two-way traffic will resume in evenings after 6 p.m., and on weekends. Access to driveways and businesses along the road will be maintained.

Crews will work as quickly and safely as possible to complete this work within the provided timeline, but the schedule may change subject to weather conditions, contractor scheduling, and other factors.

For everyone’s safety and out of respect for neighbors, please follow traffic control signs and personnel, slow down and move over for crews, and follow posted speed limits in and around work zones and along detour routes.
