Grab your cowboy boots for Country Night at Music in the Park this Friday

Grab your lawn chairs, bring your friends and family, and join us at Music in the Park this Friday, Aug. 21 for a free evening of country music under the summer sky at the Annette Beaudreau Amphitheatre in Memorial Park. 

7 p.m. – 9 p.m. - Ben Klick and Shalisa Double-Header – 2026 BC Country Music Association Nominees

Enjoy a night of unforgettable country music! Ben Klick, the Guitar Pickin’ Country Music Gentleman, will kick off the show with his engaging storytelling, crowd interaction, and classic country sound. Closing out the summer concert is Shalisa, one of Canada’s rising alt-country stars, bringing powerhouse vocals, raw storytelling, and plenty of energy for a night to remember.

Music in the Park details

Music in the Park runs through to Friday, August 28, with concerts taking place every Friday evening. Each show runs from 6:30 to 9 p.m. and usually features an emerging artist, opening act, and headliner. The emerging artist takes the stage at approximately 6:40 p.m., the opening act at 7 p.m., and the headliner at 8 p.m. Please note that set times are subject to change.

On-site fun and food

Families can also enjoy the Fun Zone, hosted by West Kelowna Recreation and Culture, featuring games and activities for all ages. A variety of food trucks will be on site each week serving local food and beverages.

Concert postponement

With potential for poor air quality, we advise attendees to check back on the City of West Kelowna’s social media channels for any cancellation notifications. If a concert needs to be postponed or cancelled notice will be shared by 6:30 p.m. on event day.

Parking information

Free parking is available in several locations, including Carrington Court (Westbank First Nation) and at the corner of Old Okanagan Highway and Ingram Road. A parking map is available at westkelownacity.ca/musicinthepark.
