Voting in a general local election is how residents help shape the future of West Kelowna. Every four years, eligible voters elect one mayor, six councillors and one school trustee to serve the community. See Elections BC for detailed information on general local elections.

City of West Kelowna voters will elect the 2026 to 2030 Mayor and Council and school trustee at polling stations, which will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the following locations:
Advance voting for the 2026 general local election will take place at City Hall, 3731 Old Okanagan Highway, West Kelowna from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on:

Mail in ballots: Apply by Sept. 8 to mail in by Oct. 16 or hand deliver to City Hall by Oct. 17.
The City of West Kelowna is committed to ensuring that all eligible voters have accessible and inclusive voting experiences.
If you find that a polling station is difficult to access, curbside voting is available. Simply ask another voter to inform election staff of your need for assistance and election staff will bring your ballot to your vehicle.
If you require an interpreter, please bring one with you to the polling station.
If you are unable to mark your own ballot, you may ask a relative, friend or election staff to assist you.
