The Westside Youth Centre is now open for basic needs. The Westside Youth Centre’s new hours are 3 p.m. - 8 p.m., Monday-Friday. The centre is closed weekends and holidays.
Virtual Programming is still being offered on the Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/BGCOYouth/.
In-person programming will commence starting July 2, following COVID-19 protocols.
On Thursdays in July and August (July 2 - Aug 27) from 4:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m., the To Be Honest Program will be holding groups for youth 12-24 to learn about their mental and physical wellness and how to improve it and help others improve theirs. There will be prizes and snacks for youth who participate. Other programming includes: art, recreation, life skills, employment support, social emotional learning and access to resources etc.

The Youth Centre offers free supervised drop-in programs and special events for youth aged 12 to 19 years. It is located at the Westbank Lions Community Centre and is operated by the Okanagan Boys and Girls Club.
Activities include:
- Free afternoon snacks and dinner
- Pool table
- Nintendo Wii, computers and internet access
- Movies, music, cards and board games
Drop-in hours:
Monday 3:00 to 8:00pm
Tuesday 3:00 to 8:00pm
Wednesday 3:00 to 8:00pm
Thursday 3:00 to 8:00pm
Friday 3:00 to 8:00pm
Closed Saturday, Sundays, holidays and long weekends.
