Located in Memorial Park at 3737 Old Okanagan Hwy, the Annette Beaudreau Amphitheatre is home to the popular Music in the Park series and a part of the annual Westside Daze celebration. This addition to the park was officially opened in July of 2016 and built by the City with a financial contribution from the Canada 150 Community Infrastructure Program provided through the Government of Canada.
The Amphitheatre was officially dedicated to Annette Beaudreau who spent decades working to improve recreational and cultural spaces and parks in West Kelowna. As a former Regional District of Central Okanagan and City employee, community volunteer and resident, Annette planned and hosted activities and events that brought the community together and improved the health and spirit of all who attended. Annette was instrumental in setting the direction for the City's Recreation Department by introducing programs like Music in the Park and championing facility and service delivery improvements which ultimately lead to the construction of the Amphitheatre.
In 2017, the City of West Kelowna was honoured with the BC Recreation and Park Association (BCRPA) Facility Excellence Award for the addition of the new Amphitheatre and Skate Park to Memorial Park.
