Westbank Country Opry is back for another night of free family fun! Join us Friday, August 2 at 6:40 p.m. in the Annette Beaudreau Amphitheatre.
Starting at 7:00 p.m. the classic Westbank Country Opry will take the stage.
The Westbank Country Opry describes themselves as a member organization formed in 1995 to provide local musicians with a venue for presenting their music to like-minded individuals in the community. Over the years, the Opry has added new artists to each performance as well as maintained a roster of regular favorites – offering a mix of new and traditional music.
On keyboard, accordion, fiddle and guitar is the “Founding Father of Westbank Opry”, Lavern Panich. Shredding the electric guitar is Saskatchewan born Jack O’Connor. On the steel guitar is Canadian traveler Ian Stewart. Holding the tempo with the bass guitar is vet musician Jeff Bowman. On drums is Linden Northcott. Back up vocalists are performers Bonnie Lamb and Rona Nadeau.
Emerging artist Daina Burnett will kick off the show at 6:40 p.m.
The food trucks joining us this week will be:
- Nomadic Bannock - Bannock, Indian Tacos, chili
- Kona Ice of Central Okanagan - Shaved Ice
- Dosa Crepes - Savory and Sweet Crepes
- Peter Ze German – Bratwurst, Grilled Cheese, Schnitzel, Salad
